Espy Releases New TV Ad: Hyde-Smith Would Be A Disaster For Mississippi’s Economy
Aetna, Pfizer, and AT&T join other major companies in pulling support for Hyde-Smith’s campaign
As Aetna, Pfizer, and AT&T join other major companies like Walmart in pulling their support for Cindy Hyde-Smith, today the Espy for Senate campaign is releasing a new television advertisement highlighting why Hyde-Smith would be a disaster for Mississippi’s economy: “Values.”
Following her despicable comments about lynching eight major companies have now pulled their support for Hyde-Smith’s campaign — stating that her embarrassing politics do not reflect their values and demonstrating how she’s repulsing the businesses Mississippi needs to create good paying jobs.
The ad will start airing today.
Announcer: How embarrassing is Cindy Hyde-Smith?
Announcer: Walmart said Hyde-Smith’s recent comments clearly do not reflect the values of our company.
Announcer: Now AT&T, Union Pacific and other fortune 500 companies — company after company — has rejected her divisive words.
Announcer: We’ve worked hard to overcome the stereotypes that hurt our economy and cost us jobs.
Announcer: Her words should not reflect Mississippi’s values either.
